Jennifer Harris As part of the World Bank’s “Publishing for Impact” conference on the way the digital age is changing the publishing industry, Beyond the Book’s Christopher Kenneally hosted a panel discussion on how podcasting is poised to move publishing toward a comprehensive strategy that captures print, online and the human voice all in a unified message.

Panelists included Curtis Franklin, author of The Absolute Beginner’s Guide to Podcasting; Jennifer Harris, strategic director for the Center for Digital Democracy (in photo); Jesse Walker, managing editor of Reason; and Joel Bush, sales director from Near-Time.
