Beyond the Book’s Christopher Kenneally hosts a provocative panel discussion at this year’s 2006 Miami Book Fair International on “Family Secrets, Family Truths: American Immigrant Stories.” Panelists include Michael Patrick MacDonald, author of the new book, Easter Rising: An Irish American Coming Up from Under; Maria Elena Salinas, Univision anchor and author of her memoir, I Am My Father’s Daughter: Living A Life Without Secrets; and Sasha Su-Ling Welland, assistant professor of anthropology and author of her critically acclaimed memoir, A Thousand Miles of Dreams.
